Step 1
- Remove top from base.
- Push button(s) on base down to open.
- Insert bread item and release button(s).

- Use built-in blade for firmer items.
- Align top with base and press down.
- Grip base and slowly remove top.

- Use knife for fresh or softer items.
- Halves are easily sliced into quarters.
- Thinly slice a variety of items safely.

- Push button(s) on base down to open.
- Remove bread item and release button(s).
- Replace top on base for safe storage.

How do I insert my large bagel?
To insert your large bagel or bread item, simply push button(s) on base down to open the centering plates. Release button(s) once your bagel or bread item is sufficiently nested.
How do I remove my bagel after slicing?
To remove your bagel or bread item, simply push button(s) on base down to release.
How do I prevent squishing fresh, soft bread items?
If your bread item is too soft for the built-in blade, we have slots on the sides of the bottom unit to allow you to use your own kitchen knife to slice soft, delicate bread items. There are cutting board grade inserts at the bottom of these slots to prevent your knife from coming into contact with the unit.
What kind of knife should I use when slicing soft bagels or other soft breads?
We recommend using a serrated knife with a blade length of 8-9 inches.
Is the BonBagel dishwasher safe?
Yes, the BonBagel is dishwasher safe – top rack only.
What is the best way to clear any crumbs?
Shake the unit upside down into a sink or trash can. For sticky crumbs or residue, simply rinse with warm, soapy water or place in the top rack of your dishwasher.
What is the best way to clean the blade?
CAREFULLY! The best way to clean the blade is to place the top of the BonBagel in the top rack of your dishwasher. To clean your BonBagel blade by hand, use warm, soapy water and a bottle brush. The blade is very sharp. NEVER reach into the top of the BonBagel with your hand. Do not use metal pads, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners to scour the blade.
What is the best way to clean the outside of the BonBagel?
We recommend using a microfiber cloth with glass cleaner to clean the outside of the BonBagel.
Is the blade durable?
Yes, the blade is extremely durable. It is made with high quality stainless steel that will endure for many years.
Is the blade replaceable?
While the blade is not replaceable, please reach out to us should you need to replace the top of your unit over time.
